Olympiaworld Innsbruck is hosting Western Austria’s largest indoor public viewing event for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. All evening matches of this major sporting event, taking place between June 11 and July 19, will be broadcast on the Medienwürfel screen at Innsbruck’s TIWAG Arena.
A stadium atmosphere, protection from the weather, a great vibe, and unobstructed views for up to 3,000 fans. Soccer fans from Tyrol will find these compelling conditions at the TIWAG Arena during the summer months. The Eispalast, which serves as the venue for numerous thrilling ice hockey games featuring the Innsbruck Haie during the winter months, transforms into a seething cauldron of soccer enthusiasts in the summer—and admission is free!
44 broadcasts across 34 match days
At the TIWAG Arena, all matches kicking off between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM will be broadcast; on Saturdays, there will also be occasional late-night specials starting at 11:00 PM. A total of 44 matches fall within this timeframe. The four HD LED walls of the Medienwürfel and the newly upgraded speakers in the event hall ensure spine-tingling moments during the matches and a lively, festive atmosphere during numerous side events.
Sustainable Live and Supporting Program
In addition to the action on the field, the party-loving audience will be treated to an extensive supporting program, featuring theme days organized by local sports clubs, live concerts, interviews, roller discos, and interactive activities. Refreshments will be available at the venue kiosks. The barrier-free and eco-label-certified event location places a strong emphasis on resource conservation, and attendees are encouraged to use public transportation. Soccer fans wearing team gear can ride the Innsbruck public transit lines for free to and from the broadcast matches during the public viewing hours.
