We are delighted to present the impressive works of Puck Steinbrecher for the second time. The artist has found in the Zwischenahner Meer the place where he can give free rein to his artistic vision. It is here that he creates his scenes of the shore, groups of trees, arrangements of plants, and their reflections, depicted in ever-changing variations, while maintaining an unbroken luminosity even when using subdued colors.
Puck Steinbrecher always finds unique color combinations to express the immediacy of his painting. The distance from the subject and the abstract elements bear the signature of this Expressionist, who says of himself: “Starting from the landscape, I always arrive at more abstract visual solutions.”
