Start at Hinterlarcher car park in Oberellbögen (fees apply) and hike west out of the valley. Turn right and follow the signs to Profeglalm/Ellbögener Ochsenalm. The hike leads along forest trails with stunning views towards Serles mountain and continues as far as the Profeglalm mountain hut.
