GPX DownloadRoute to startFrom the Bergbahnen Oberperfusslift car park (fees apply), follow Peter-Anich-Weg road west for about 300 m and then turn left to follow the road uphill to the recycling centre. From there, follow the Hagenweg trail (route no. 2) up to Stiglreith and then continue along the road to Sulzstich. From there, the route continues past a picturesque reservoir and follows a forest road slowly uphill to the beautifully situated Rosskogelhütte mountain hut (1,778 m). Lots of other hikes and mountain tours lead off from the hut.
If the Bergbahnen Oberperfuss lifts are running, you can take the Peter-Anich I gondola to Stiglreith and the Peter-Anich II gondola to Sulzstich. From there, it's a 40-minute hike to the Rosskogelhütte mountain hut. For the hike back, you can either follow the ski slope with stunning views or the forest road.
The Rosskogelhütte mountain hut serves excellent food and has a wonderful sun terrace. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Fees apply to park in the car park at Stiglreith. The panoramic Panoramastraße road to Stiglreith is closed to cars from 1 November until 30 March.

Forecast
We will see a Sunday that certainly deserves its name! The day will start bright with morning stratus clearing quickly and the weather will then stay warm until into the evening.
Tendency
The Indian summer will persist on Monday: it will once again be sunny with just a few clouds moving in from the north towards evening. These clouds are however the harbinger of a weak weather front which will pass over our region during the night with thicker clouds and showers.
