Three of the sections along the main route of The Way of St. James pass through the Innsbruck holiday region.

From Terfens to Innsbruck:

Once in Innsbruck, the route continues to St. James' Cathedral.

From Innsbruck to Pfaffenhofen:

This stage is 32.8 km long and can be accomplished in 8 hours and 30 minutes. The route leads west out of Innsbruck along the southern bank of the River Inn. At Innsbruck Airport – past Kranebitten. Cross the river and follow the southern slopes of the Inn Valley. The destination of Pfaffenhofen at the end this stage is small and easy to navigate. It is worth taking a look at the town of Telfs, which is located directly on the other side of the River Inn.
