Start your hike in the village centre of Kematen and walk along Zwölfergasse, which leads you to Mühlbachweg. This path takes you through an idyllic part of Kematen, past charming houses and small gardens, until you reach the retirement home.
From here, you continue along the Melach downstream and soon reach the picturesque wooden bridge. The path offers wonderful views of the clear water and the surrounding nature. During the hike, you have the opportunity to discover part of the charming village of Kematen and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
On the way back, you cross the Sellrainer Landesstraße and pass the well-known Ruetz bakery, where you can enjoy a snack or refreshment. The trail then continues along Melachweg and turns into Rauthweg, which takes you through the idyllic village area back to Bahnhofstraße.
From here, you can then return to the village centre in a relaxed manner. This very easy hike is a perfect way to get to know a beautiful part of Kematen while enjoying the tranquillity of nature.
