Forecast

Central European weather is still in an early summer lethargy! Under strong high pressure, moderately humid, warm air will continue to move into our region. Another nice day is therefore awaiting us with plenty of sunshine during the day, slowly increasing cloud cover in the afternoon and thundery showers possible in the evening.

Tendency

The area of high pressure remains stationary and we will therefore see a good deal of mostly sunny, dry days with summer-like temperatures!

Opening Hours

The 3.5-metre-high bronze sculpture of the "Lantern Bearer", who is one of the main characters in the Telfs carnival celebrations, features 16 bronze reliefs by Martin Gundolf that are attached around the edge of the circular base. These reliefs represent the different groups in the "Schleicherlaufen" parade, a unique and centuries-old Tyrolean carnival tradition. If you take the time to look closely, you can see the entire sequence of the celebration, starting with the parade of the sun and followed by the heralds, the four seasons, the wild men, the Schleicher, the bears, the travellers and other characters.
