Forecast

An area of low pressure swiftly extended from France to Central Europe yesterday. It would be nice if it left as quickly as it arrived! It will not do us this favour, however! On the contrary, it will remain here and we will have to wait for it to clear. We will thus get a rainy summer day.

Tendency

Until Friday, we will only see little change. On Saturday and Sunday we will see an improvement in the weather.

Learn more about Tyrolean life in the Stone Age, the Middle Ages, or during the times of folk hero Andreas Hofer! The Tyrolean State Museum contains extensive collections on many various themes, e.g., early history, art and art history, cartography and everyday life. The results of archaeological excavations in Tyrol are all on display here. There are even paintings, information about the history of mining, and much more.

The State Museum also contains instruments designed and made by the renowned Tyrolean violin maker Jakob Stainer, whose instruments were as highly coveted as those of Stradivarius.
