Get Ready to Celebrate
Attention Innsbruck! Get ready for the vibrant return of the Alles Gute Festival! One of the best things about a summer in Innsbruck is all the music festivals around town! From August 21st to 24th and August 30th to 31st, Innsbruck will once again transform into a lively cultural hotspot. Organized by the collaborative efforts of P.M.K, Die Bäckerei, Bonanza, and Arche*Ahoi, this festival promises an unforgettable experience. If you haven’t yet heard about the Alles Gute Festival, let me enlighten you, because it should NOT be missed this summer!
Collaboration is key!
I had the pleasure of interviewing David from P.M.K who is involved in planning this festival. Collaboration is important, David told me, Innsbruck is too small to dive into one specific genre, so collaborations make it possible to bring these types of events to the people. Why settle for one genre when you can have it all. Die Bäckerei brings singer-songwriters/Indie artists, P.M.K provides the hip-hop and rock with dance and party artists covered by Bonanza and Arche*Ahoi. There is truly something for everyone – don’t limit your taste, expand it! The festival will span six days, offering a colorful open-air celebration at Landestheater-Nebenplatz and the Botanical Garden. Whether you’re looking to merely listen, dance or anything in between, the Alles Gute Festival has something for everyone.
Music in the Center
David from the P.M.K told me the importance of integrating cultural events within the city of Innsbruck: „There are so many opportunities to have festivals just outside or on the edge of Innsbruck but we want to be integrated and bring the festival to people who might not have come across it otherwise.“ It’s not always easy to plan a festival like this, there are a lot of people that would complain about „noise“, those who don’t appreciate the music. Make sure you make it known your appreciation for festivals like these around Innsbruck! David told me he hopes, „people realize this is their city, and should be enjoyed by tourists AND those who live here.“
Location, Location, Location
The Alles Gute Festival has some truly impressive locations: From 21st–24th of August join the fun at the Landestheater-Nebenplatz, then from 30th–31st of August take in the show at the Botanical Garden Innsbruck. We are used to Red Bull events or sports happenings at the Landestheater-Nebenplatz, but it’s not often that there is music there. Same goes for the Botanical Garden of Innsbruck, I don’t think anyone would expect live music to be found there, but Alles Gute changes the game!
No Excuse!
There are a range of ticket options available, whether it be for the entire festival or only one day – everyone has the chance to partake! Even if your budget is a bit tight, there are 200 „Soli Tickets“ per day for 5 €, once they are gone they are gone. There is really no reason to stay at home! This festival is for EVERYONE!
Mark your calendars and join the Alles Gute Festival, where culture, creativity, and community come together in the heart of Innsbruck. Let’s celebrate the summer with live music!

In 2007, Laura completed her studies at an American university and applied for the Fulbright programme to be an English teacher in Germany or Austria. The wisest decision at this point: Austria! And the rest, as they say, is history.
