Forecast

A low pressure area over Iceland is sending cool air from the Atlantic to the Alpine region. This air is so humid that clearer spells will be rare and most likely to occur in the afternoon. It will not be humid enough, however, to produce any significant precipitation.

Tendency

The next few days will still bring a few banks of cloud but then the sun will shine from cloudless skies once again! It will be much milder.

This trail starts on the Hungerburg forest road, about 400 metres east of the bottom lift station for the Nordkettenbahn cable car (clearly signposted). It is a perfectly prepared intermediate trail and a fun run down through the forest for experienced mountain bikers. For more daring bikers, various obstacles are built-in along the way (doubles). However, these can also be safely avoided if desired. After covering a good half a kilometre and 100 vertical metres, the trail joins the Arzler Alm Trail (5007), which has the same difficulty level and similar trail characteristics in this lower section. From there, bikers still have about 1.6 km of biking fun to come on the Arzler Alm Trail before finishing in the district of Mühlau in Innsbruck.
