The hiking trail follows a well-maintained and varied forest path to the Kreither Alm. Along the way, there is an option to stop at the Stockerhof guesthouse. From the Kreither Alm, there is a good connection heading north towards the Raitiser Alm (not serviced) and further on to Muttereralm or into the Stubai Valley. To get back to the starting point, hike back along the same route. The route offers gentle inclines and varied views of the Stubai Valley and the surrounding mountains.
