This varied hike begins at the Hungerburg station of the railway of the same name. From there, follow the first narrow lane on the right and continue to the edge of the forest. Here the path turns right and leads to the Rosnerweg in a few minutes.
At a fork in the path, leave the Rosnerweg and climb up to the left through the forest to the Arzler Alm. After a possible refreshment stop, continue towards the Rumer Alm before the path finally leads to the Enzianhütte.
There are two options for the way back:
Via the Rosnerweg back to the Hungerburg. Alternatively, you can descend directly to Rum.
