From Lüsens, a wide path leads uphill to the right. After about 15 minutes, continue straight along the charming trail through a scenic stone pine forest. After another 45 minutes, you reach the trail coming from Praxmar. From this point, marked trail no. 141 leads directly to the Westfalenhaus, which offers a cozy place to rest and enjoy refreshments.
For the return, you can either take the same route back or continue the hike as part of a varied multi-day hut tour. This hut round leads further to the Winnebachseehütte and the Pforzheimer Hütte, both of which also invite you to relax and extend your mountain experience.
