From the parking area in St. Sigmund, the trail heads south along a paved road to the Gleirschalm (approx. 25 minutes). The route then continues past blooming alpine meadows and rushing mountain streams deep into the picturesque Gleirsch Valley. After a steady but manageable ascent, you reach the rustic Pforzheimer Hütte – an ideal place to take a well-deserved break surrounded by mountain scenery.
The return follows the same route, offering new perspectives on the beautiful landscape.
