This mountain hut with its striking stone walls stands proudly at an altitude of 2,300 metres above sea level in the Gleirsch Valley near St. Sigmund im Sellrain. The high alpine setting provides breathtaking views of several three-thousand-metre-high peaks. Countless hikes, summit tours and ski tours leads off from the hut. Our tip for mountain bikers: The Pforzheimer Hütte is ideal for a combined bike & hike tour. Riders must be in good shape and have a high level of biking ability.
Open in summer from June to the end of September.
Open in winter from February until Easter.
