TOURS, TRAILS & CHEESE DUMPLINGS

That is mountain biking in Innsbruck. First you pedal hard uphill. Then you enjoy a summer bike stop at one of the many mountain huts and alpine restaurants that are often located right on the route or may even be your destination. Refuelling à la Innsbruck: Kaspressknödel cheese dumplings. Are your calves burning? If so, simply relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains a little longer before getting back on the saddle.

A test of endurance for athletic bikers directly above Innsbruck!

This route begins with a steady intermediate climb, before becoming steeper and more challenging towards the end near the edge of the forest. At an altitude of approximately 1,600 m, you'll find the Bodensteinalm mountain hut (open for visitors). From there, the trail continues steeply, forcing even experienced bikers who are in good shape to glance enviously at the cable car travellers above, while battling with the ever-increasing muscle power required.

At the Seegrube, there is the opportunity to take a well-earned break at the restaurant and enjoy breathtaking views of the Zillertal and Stubai Alps.
