Three mega sporting events will kick off the summer in the Innsbruck region. June promises world-class sporting action combined with great vibes at side events and after-show parties. Be there when the best runners in the world conquer vertical metre after vertical metre at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (WMTRC), hold your breath as the finalists at the IFSC Climbing World Cup Innsbruck make their critical deciding moves, or track the most spectacular tricks at the legendary mountain bike festival Crankworx Innsbruck. For each of these three sporting highlights, we are giving away a “once-in-a-lifetime” package including free entry to the event, a shopping voucher, cool sporting activities and the Innsbruck Card for great city experiences.
Sightseeing with the Innsbruck Card
Your prize includes the fantastic Innsbruck Card for one day! It makes exploring the city particularly easy: the card gives you free access to 22 attractions and museums. Plus it makes getting around simple: public transport in the city of Innsbruck (IVB), the Sightseer Innsbruck hop-on hop-off bus and three hours of bike rental are included with it. Getting to your once-in-a-lifetime event
Each of the three events can be reached quickly and easily by bus or tram. By using public transport, you help save the environment while also saving yourself the hassle of having to hunt for a parking space. We even recommend taking the train from your home to Innsbruck so you can enjoy a relaxed and environmentally friendly journey here. By the way: Attractive Nightjet trains will also be running to Innsbruck this summer. These comfortable overnight trains are an easy way to get to the heart of the Alps from several German and Austrian cities as well as Amsterdam and Utrecht. To get you right to your accommodation, the last leg of your journey on public transport can be booked here at the same time too.
Terms and conditions of participation
To enter the competition, you must select the event you want to experience. The competition is open from 17 April to 8 May 2023. The winners will be notified via email within three working days. Winners must respond and confirm acceptance of the prize within three days of receiving notification.
