The fascinating works of Jumping He, a graphic designer based in Berlin who divides his time between Europe and China, operate at the intersection of design, culture, and visual language, and view design not as a superficial element but as a cultural practice. In his lecture, Jumping He offers insight into more than 25 years of design practice and, using posters, books, graphic works, and paper installations, brings to life the diverse possibilities of paper as a medium at the intersection of design, communication, and art.
