Hedwig Meinhart – a cross-section of works by the Tyrolean painter from various series – ‘Chocolate Series’, ‘Tyrol – Enchanting Beauty’, ‘Tyrol – Magical Alpine Landscape’, ‘Night Owls’ and ‘Against War’. In this relatively extensive exhibition, the artist’s diverse painting techniques are on display; she views the respective style as “determined by the content”. Thus, respectful observations are depicted in a realistic, representational manner – whilst references to subtle forces and powers are rendered in the picture in a surreal manner, extending into abstraction.
Opening on 10 September 26 at 7.00 pm, hosted by Stefan Pfurtscheller / Burghauptmannschaft
Visual artist Elisabeth Moser-Ziegler will speak about the exhibition – a poem by Josef Paul Beneder will be recited – with musical accompaniment by Hanno Winder and Miwa Burger.
