From the Mühltal district of Ellbögen to the top of the Patscherkofelbahn gondola.
This hiking trail starts in the Mühtal district in Ellbögen (1,060 m) and climbs steadily up through the untouched Viggar Valley towards the Meissner Haus alpine guesthouse (1,707 m). When you come to the transport cable car (used to move goods), cross the stream to your left and follow the signs for the Almenweg 1600. Continue along the paths and trails towards Gartengatterl, where you will enjoy impressive views of the Stubai Valley and the Stubai Glacier. At the crossroads, keep right and continue at the same altitude to the Patscher Alm mountain hut (1,684 m). Finally, follow the route up to the mountain lift station of the Patscherkofelbahn gondola (1,964 m).
