From the Badesee car park at the swimming lake, head east through the forest. After crossing a small bridge, follow the signs towards Mühlhof and then, after a few metres, take a right across the bridge towards Stams/Hängebrücke. A well-trodden and winding footpath leads you past a small chapel down towards the River Inn's "Innaue" floodplains, where you can see the impressive suspension bridge stretching out over the river. On this side of the river, it is possible to take a short detour to a waterfall by following a narrow path that leads east directly to the waterfall. From the suspension bridge, a trail heads uphill to the Mieming Plateau (Locherboden). After visiting the pilgrimage church, the route continues first along a good path and then a paved road. The route then continues through the districts of Zein and Tabland and back to the starting point at the swimming lake.
