Sauna sensations and relaxing massages
What could be better than escaping the frosty winter temperatures or wet and cold weather and enjoying an indoor pampering session that warms both body and soul? With a wide range of spa havens to choose from, all sauna lovers are sure to find the ideal infusion to leave them shining inside and out. Or would you rather keep a cool head and treat yourself to a soothing massage that effortlessly eases away the stresses and strains of the daily grind? Our tip: why not try both?
An indulgent spa day is the perfect way to enjoy some precious "me time" or time for two. In the Innsbruck region, you don't have to choose between the services of a spa hotel and the benefits of other types of accommodation: there are plenty of spa and sauna facilities open to the general public as day guests.
It's pouring time in the sauna. The "glacier ice" with menthol or camphor crystals sizzles as it melts on the hot stone, filling the room with the scent of local woody oils as if you were standing in the middle of a pine forest. In Tyrol, sauna culture is a fine art with a long tradition, popular both as a spontaneous way to bring the day to a close or a carefully planned spa break. Simply sit back, relax and enjoy a good sweat, or as the locals would say: "guat schwitz"!
Some of our fitness studios also have saunas.
