This page will give you some ideas for ski tours in the region of Innsbruck. A great way to get a wonderful insight into the wonders of winter, especially under good conditions. These are, of course, only suggestions, as the final responsibility lies with the tourer to inform him or herself about current conditions before setting out.

Weitkarspitze

Westfalenhaus
796 M medium The perfect tour destination, and ideal for wonderful ski tours. The Westfalenhaus alpine hut is open from mid-February to the end of April, and has a winter room available.
Wetterkreuzkogel
850 M medium This tour starts just a few kilometres away from Kühtai and heads across the Obere Issalm, through the Wörgetal valley and the upper reaches of the peak's plateau to the summit cross. Descent is via the same path. How to get there: Drive from Kühtai towards Ötztal. After about 3km, you'll find a parking area at the bridge.
Winnebacher Weißkogel
1.573 M medium A wonderful ski tour near the Westfalenhaus, open from mid-February to the end of April. A winter room is also available.
Zischgeles
1.235 M medium The dream route for every experienced tourer. Great, even when the snow is not ideal, but beware of avalanche danger. Take note of all avalanche reports!
Zwieselbacher Rosskogel from Haggen
1.439 M medium A popular ski tour through Krapestal and across the Krapesferner.
