The free ski bus goes from the 8th of December, 2018 to the 7rd of April, 2019.
A car-free skiing holiday. Thanks to the free ski bus, every skier can reach the piste for free. The bus travels daily along various routes between Innsbruck, the holiday villages and the Oympia SkiWorld resorts. The only thing you need is the Welcome Card, available from your host upon arrival at your accommodation.
Thanks to the ski bus, there's no need to look for a parking space. The bus will take you in comfort to the piste and back again to your hotel. This means you can enjoy that drink Après Ski with a good conscience. Just make sure that you arrive at the bus stop in time, take your equipment with you, board the bus and look forward to a great day's skiing.

Innsbruck's J bus line is free for skiers and snowboarders during the skiing season, and crosses through the city connecting the ski resorts of Patscherkofel and the Nordkette.
To travel for free, passengers just have to ensure that they look like skiers or snowboarders, meaning that if you have your skis or snowboard with you, and are wearing the necessary clothing for winter sports, you'll travel for free. Of course, this rule doesn't just apply on the J bus, but on all of the city's bus routes.
If you choose to leave your equipment at the ski resort, you'll need to bring your receipt. To travel back to the resort, simply show your lift card for the day.
Attention: this offer is only valid during the ski season, and as long as the resorts are open for winter sports.
