This leisurely winter hike starts at the hikers' car park by Gasthaus Arzkasten, an alpine guesthouse and restaurant. Walk past the guesthouse, turn right towards the Lehnberghaus and then turn left shortly afterwards to follow the "Sonnenplateau Rundwanderweg" trail. Children will enjoy a short break at the Weisland playground along the way.
The trail soon brings you to a few houses in the Weisland district. From there, cross the winter hiking trail leaving the cross-country ski trail on your right and then follow the groomed trail south. If you would like a short break, you can take a quick detour to the Kinderhotel Lärchenhof family hotel for a drink or a bite to eat. Otherwise, take the next left onto another winter hiking trail, cross the forest road and then turn left to return to the car park. It is well worth rounding off your hike with a break on the sun terrace at Gasthaus Arzkasten.
