Big Air is coming home. Big Air is returning to Innsbruck. Where the history of this unique sport began, a new era is now dawning:
On 27 and 28 November, the Bergisel will become the centre of world-class Park & Pipe Big Air and German rap for two days. As an official FIS Park & Pipe World Cup stop, around 160 of the world’s best freeski and snowboard athletes will compete for the first major World Cup points of the season. Between the sporting events, some of the biggest names in German rap will take to the stage.
On Friday, the Bergisel belongs to the freeskiers (women and men). They’ll kick off the weekend and battle it out for the season’s first major Park & Pipe title. Things will get loud on stage too – courtesy of K.I.Z and SSIO.
On Saturday, the snowboarders take centre stage. The international elite will take to the air, turning the Bergisel into the setting for the most spectacular tricks. Musically, Bonez MC, RAF Camora and badmómzjay will provide the perfect finale.
