During the summer months, the Schafalm restaurant is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. There is a lovely garden with seating and plenty of space for guests to sit back, relax and enjoy. There is also a small playground that is an ideal source of entertainment for younger visitors. The Jausenstation is very easy to get to. A hiking trail leads from the car park at Axamer Lizum to the Schafalm and the hike only takes approx. ten minutes.
The hut is the ideal venue for "törggelen" (an autumn tradition featuring delicious delights like roasted chestnuts and wine), tobogganing evenings, Christmas parties and New Year's celebrations for up to 40 people.
