Nordic walking is good for body and soul. It trains your endurance, improves your posture and strengthens your muscles. The regular exercise reduces stress wonderfully. Try it out on the Mieminger Plateau!

Nordic walking route: the Badesee circuit (swimming lake circuit)

The gently undulating running and Nordic walking route starts at the Badesee Mieming parking lot and leads through the forest to Untermieming. The path continues through the village and onto a flat clearing, before heading south of the lake into the forest, passing over Sassberg to Zein and through Tabland. It then loops back to the parking lot. The route offers a small challenge in terms of terrain and fitness. After the walk, you can refresh yourself at the lake or enjoy a meal at the Gasthaus Stiegl. Nordic walking poles are available for rent at the Mieming Tourist Information.

Nordic walking: the Kapellenweg (chapel trail), Mieming

The gently sloping running and Nordic walking route starts at the Lehnbach parking lot and heads east towards Wildermieming, passing through the Brente district and the Rochus Chapel. A small loop around Wildermieming offers a beautiful view of the Letten Chapel and the Bergdoktor house. The route continues through Affenhausen, passing the Afrakapelle, and then goes through the forest past the Nothelfer Chapel and St. Georg Church, before returning to Obermieming and the starting point. Nordic walking poles can be rented at the Mieming Tourist Information.

After an active session, the cozy Moosalm inn invites visitors to enjoy a well-earned break, while the nearby Barwies forest swimming pool offers a refreshing cool-down in its crystal-clear waters.

Here, the cozy Gasthaus Arzkasten invites visitors to take a well-earned break and enjoy regional specialties. The route then continues along the Sonnenplateau circular hiking trail to Obsteig. In the village, signposts guide the way back to a scenic meadow path, leading through impressive larch trees and finally returning to Holzleiten.
