This approximately 5 km long circular route along the Inn offers a perfect running opportunity for anyone looking for a flat, well-surfaced route in a central location.

You start on the Prandtauerufer at the Unibrücke bridge and run westwards to the Karwendelbrücke bridge, where you cross the Inn for the first time. Then turn left and follow the footpath along the southern bank of the Inn.

On the way, you pass the Freiburg Bridge and the University Bridge and enjoy a picturesque view of the Nordkette mountain range and the Inn.

Leave the historic Inn bridge at the Herzog-Otto-Burg, the gateway to the old town, on your left and continue straight ahead. Only at the Emile Béthouart footbridge do you cross the Inn again to return to the starting point on the northern side of the river.
