The challenging and demanding trail loop leads up to Gasthof Rauschbrunnen, above the Innsbruck district of Kranebitten. Covering 7.3 km with 510 meters of elevation gain, the route reaches its highest point at 1,080 m. The ascent rewards runners with stunning views over Innsbruck and a well-earned stop at the inn. The descent follows almost forgotten trails through Knappental. While suitable year-round in mild winters, this route is particularly enjoyable in spring and autumn.
