If you love secluded valleys and cool mountain streams on hot summer days, this is the tour for you: the Sturlbach stream is a lovely place to cool off at the beginning of the tour. The route starts at Arzkasten car park. Follow the trail past the guesthouse, turn right just after the fountain and then follow the forest road as it zigzags uphill before coming to a long straight up to the Lehnberghaus mountain hut and restaurant. Ignore the turnoffs and stay on the main path. Follow the same route back. Highlight: The Arzkasten alpine guesthouse with its Tyrolean specialities and large selection of home-made cakes. One of the autumn classics! But be warned: be sure to take enough to drink even in autumn because the southern slopes of the Zirler get very hot in the sun. The ride from Zirl up to the Kalvarienberg-Sattel col is a challenging section. From the Zirler Mähder pastures, it gets cooler and then the road climbs further uphill and into the Brunn Valley. From there, the ride gets a little easier as it crosses the Pfaffersmahd pastures and then continues through the beautiful larch meadows to the Magdeburger Hütte mountain hut. At the hut, you can enjoy a well-earned break and bite to eat with stunning views of the Tux and Stubai Alps. Highlights: The beautiful Zirler Mähder pastures. The stunning landscapes of the Karwendel Nature Park. The delicious traditional food and home-made alpine farm products such as Graukäse (Tyrolean grey cheese) and Speck (dry-cured ham). Our tip: There are also high alpine hikes in the area –  only for experienced mountaineers.

The people of Obsteig speak of the "Marabarg" when referring to the Marienbergalm mountain hut. An old legend tells of Mara, the guardian of the chamois on the Marienberg mountain, and Georg, the hunter. The best way to hear this legend is to stop off at the Marienbergalm and hear it told by the people who run the hut. The ride starts at Arzkasten car park and zigzags up a forest road to the Marienbergalm mountain hut, which is located at an altitude of 1,622 metres above sea level, not far below the Marienbergjoch ridge at 1,789 metres above sea level. From there, you get beautiful views over the towns of Biberwier, Lermoos and Ehrwald. Please note: the route is very rough and gravelly in places.

This panoramic eMTB ride is a circular tour that connects the most popular mountain huts to the southwest of Innsbruck, at the beginning of the Stubai Valley. During the course of the ride, you pass the Muttereralm, the Raitiser Alm and the Kreither Alm. The tour is a treat for the taste buds thanks to the local food served at the Mutterer Alm and the Kreither Alm (the Raitiser Alm is not open to the public) and the views are a real sight to behold: the route leads through stunning landscapes with views of the Wipp Valley, the Stubai Valley, Patscherkofel mountain and the Tux Alps. The constant, steady climb up to the Muttereralm at the start of the tour requires a good level of fitness, but you can cut a lot of it out by taking the Muttereralmbahn gondola instead if you would prefer. Once you've completed the climb up to the Muttereralm, you can enjoy a more leisurely ride to the Raitiser Alm and the Kreither Alm. After replenishing your energy levels, the route continues down into the valley towards the Stockerhof. Just before you reach the Stockerhof, the route turns right and continues past the Telfer Wiesen meadows, Kreith and Raitis back to Mutters. Highlights: Great views throughout the tour.
