The MTB route to the new Alplhütte starts at the hikers' car park in Wildermieming and runs continuously on gravel and forest paths. At the beginning, the route climbs gently to the north before becoming much steeper after around three kilometres - with a gradient of around 12% up to the Strassberghaus (not open to the public). From there, the route continues to climb, reaching up to 25 % in places. The destination of the tour is the Neue Alplhütte, which is surrounded by alpine scenery. The route largely follows the same route back and offers a physically demanding tour in a peaceful alpine landscape.
