This stone-walled mountain refuge stands proudly at the summit of Patscherkofel mountain at an altitude of 2,248 metres above sea level. The walk up from the mountain lift station is well worth it for the amazing panoramic views alone, but the traditional atmosphere and delicious food are also great reasons to stop off at the restaurant. If you are able to secure a spot on the sun terrace, you can enjoy absolutely stunning views of Innsbruck.
