Forecast

Everywhere in Central Europe, school has started again, as has the striving for good grades! If we were to give the weather on Tuesday a grade, it should be the best grade possible! The day will start with a fresh, clear morning before the sun will blaze down all day from a cloudless sky and ensure temperatures climb to summer-like values in the afternoon.

Tendency

This autumn idyll will last for another few days. There will be a few occasional thicker clouds, but all in all the sun will dominate the sky and produce mild temperatures.

The Maria-Hilf chapel

Maria-Hilf-Kapelle am Götzner Berg
Klamm-Kapelle
6091  Götzens

Opening Hours

The chapel was built in 1905 and is located between the Götzner Berghöfe farms at an altitude of 1,058 metres above sea level. The chapel was extensively renovated in 2015/16 and now shines in a new splendour that makes it well worth a visit. The altarpiece is a copy of the famous Maria Hilf (Mary of Succor) painting that is on display at St. James' Cathedral in Innsbruck. Beautiful wooden benches invite you to sit and enjoy silent prayer. The chapel roof is adorned with a small bell tower that is home to a bell from 1905 (Barbara bell).
