The Galerie Mathias Mayr is an art gallery located in the row of historic buildings on Mariahilfstraße road on the left bank of the River Inn in one of the oldest parts of Innsbruck. The gallery focuses on modern art from the 20th and 21st centuries and features paintings, graphics and sculptures. Special focus in an extended context is placed on works that take a graphic approach and is also extended to include a young generation of contemporary artists. In addition to rotating works from the collection, the gallery also displays six thematic group and solo exhibitions each year, as well as various special exhibitions.
