The Local History & Nativity Scene Museum in Zirl is known throughout Tyrol for its wonderful collection of nativity scenes.
It displays a unique selection of Christmas nativity scenes that range from magnificent Baroque creations to rare paper scenes, as well as Passion cribs that portray scenes from the Passion of Christ.
Thus, the museum offers an insight into all of the Tyrolean nativity traditions.
