Skiing at Innsbruck's Olympia SkiWorld
Innsbruck's Olympia Skiworld unites nine ski areas around the city into a great winter sport paradise in which more than 260km of pistes are available, and the proximity of the city to the mountains guarantees quick and easy travel times. In the evenings, or on ski-free days, our area has plenty of alternatives to offer from sightseeing to nightlife.
The area around Innsbruck offers endless descents and many hundreds of kilometres of pistes for every ability. Two ski resorts even border the city: the Nordkette Ski Lounge to the north and high above the skyline, and the Patscherkofel Vital Park for connoisseurs with its fantastic views over Innsbruck. The Kühtai Ski Resort offers a stress-free skiing holiday at over 2,000m above sea level, while families enjoy the snow at the Muttereralm Playground. Axamer Lizum Olympia Park is, however, the highlight for practiced skiers. But the usual ski areas in Innsbruck's Olympia Skiworld should not be forgotten. Despite their diversity, they all ahve one thing in common: their proximity to Innsbruck and the advantages of the city.
