The tour starts at the hiking car park above Wildermieming. From there, the path heads east, taking about an hour to reach the Strassberghaus (not managed). After passing the Strassberghaus, follow the trail beneath the Mieminger Chain for about another hour to the Neue Alplhütte. There, hikers are rewarded with a great view of the Inn Valley and delicious home-style cooking. The hut is an ideal location for family or company excursions. The return journey is the same as the outward route. With a total length of 11.4 kilometers and around 560 meters of ascent, this tour is considered moderately difficult.

- You can get to the starting point via the Inn Valley. From Telfs or Mötz, drive up to the village of Affenhausen on the Mieming Plateau. At the petrol station, turn off towards Wildermieming and continue to the hikers' car park above Wildermieming. Bus 350 or 355 - stop "Wildermieming Affenhausen" (an approx. 30-minute walk to the hikers' car park above Wildermieming) www.vvt.at
