Start at Arzkasten car park and follow the wide forest road that takes you to a bridge over the Lehnbergbach stream. After the bridge, a path leads left towards the piste. This is the preferred route for ski tourers and snowshoers. From there, continue up to the Lehnberghaus mountain hut, where you can warm up and enjoy a bite to eat. If you don't want to walk back down the mountain from there, you can rent a toboggan from the hut and get back to the car park in next to no time.
If you would like to continue your hike, you can put your snowshoes back on and walk for another approx. 30-40 minutes to the Lacke viewing platform (an additional 150 vertical metres), where you will be rewarded with stunning, wide-open views of the Inn Valley.

- You can get to the starting point via the Inn Valley. From Telfs or Mötz, drive up to the Mieming Plateau and continue through the village of Obsteig. After about 500 m, turn left onto the forest road and keep driving for a few minutes until you reach Arzkasten car park (fees apply). Bus 350 or 355 - stop "Obsteig Holzleiten"
