Mountains, forests and stunning views
Here we’ll introduce you to some of the many beautiful hikes in the region. They range from leisurely walks to long tours. Grab your rucksack, lace up your boots, and let’s go!
This hike takes you to the Rauschbrunnen mountain hut, which is located at around 1,100 metres above sea level. Attractions along the way include the Höttinger Bild, which is a small mountain chapel and pilgrimage site.
The Zirbenweg trail between Patscherkofel and Glungezer is an absolute classic. It runs an altitude of around 2,000 metres above sea level through one of Europe's largest stone pine forests.
Nestled in alpine terrain, the Pfeishütte mountain hut is well worth a visit. It can be reached via the Goetheweg trail, which starts from the top of the Hafelekar cable car.
Discover three different lakes on this tour in Kühtai. The lakes are not only eye-catchers, they also offer a wonderful way to cool down if you decide to dip your toes in.
