The village lies directly on the Inn Cycle Path and also on various wonderful hiking routes. The Tyrolean section of The Way of St. James passes right through Unterperfuss and brings pilgrims to the beautiful village centre built in traditional Tyrolean style. There is even a brewery nearby and you can try a cool beer at the connected guesthouse.
A unique sundial featuring the signs of the zodiac can be seen at the Hörtnaglhof in Unterperfuss. The sundial was made by Peter Anich, a cartographer and autodidact who lived in Oberperfuss in the 18th century.
A cold front accompanied by periods of clouds and thunderstorms will pass over today, bringing rather unstable weather conditions. It will be cloudy with only brief, clear spells and occasional heavy rain.
