Lifts and cable cars in Axamer Lizum
Learn more
In just a few minutes, the modern 10-seater gondola lift takes guests from 1,560 metres up to 2,340 metres into the heart of the Axamer Lizum. Even during the journey, an impressive view of Innsbruck and the Kalkkögel mountains - also known as the ‘Dolomites of North Tyrol’ - opens up. Once at the top, Tyrolean delicacies, refreshing drinks, sun loungers and a breathtaking panorama invite you to linger - in summer and winter alike.
The Hoadlbahn is the ideal starting point for a variety of mountain adventures. In summer, family-friendly routes such as the wide Herzlteichweg trail or the Pleisen panoramic trail with three peaks start here. In winter, the cable car takes skiers, snowboarders and ski tourers comfortably to the snow-sure ski area with wide pistes, marked piste ski tours and the Golden Roofpark for freestyle fans.
An additional winter highlight is the family-friendly toboggan run to the Pleisenhütte. After a short walk uphill, a cosy refreshment stop awaits before a speedy toboggan ride back down into the valley.
