On the north side of the large car park near the Hoadlbahn valley station, the trail first leads past the Axamer Schiklubhaus to the Schafalm. This is where the ascent to the Pleisenhütte toboggan run begins.
The first, short section first leads somewhat steeper up to the ski piste and then, with a pleasant incline and two wide loops, through a wooded area to the Pleisenhütte.
The hut is located directly in the ski area at the valley station of the Pleisen double chairlift and invites skiers and tobogganists to take a cosy break. Please note that the toboggan run is only accessible on foot and not with the lifts of the Axamer Lizum cable cars.
