Summit tour: Karkopf
This hike starts from the Neue Alplhütte mountain hut and follows an alpine path up to the Wetterkreuz cross (1,920 m). From there, the route follows a marked alpine trail east from behind the summit cross towards Karkopf. The alpine trail leads up through steep, rocky terrain to the summit cross at Karkopf peak. The last few metres are secured with a steel cable. Surefootedness is a requirement for this route up to Karkopf!
