The hiking region of Silz is located west of Innsbruck and acts as a link between the Inn Valley and the Ötz Valley. Beautiful forests, small waterfalls and green alpine meadows form the backdrop for your hikes. One of the most popular hiking destinations is St Petersberg Castle. This castle lies on a hill and can only be viewed from the outside. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also love the area thanks to its dense network of trails. Other sports facilities and destinations include the "Fit 2000" fitness trail, the beautiful protected natural landscape of the "Silzer Innau" and the artificial ice rink. The snow-sure ski resort of Kühtai is about 30 minutes away.
