From the centre of the village, walk past the parish church towards Obermarendebach. After 5 minutes, turn left to the Falzhöfe farms, where you can enjoy wonderful views to the south as far as the Lisenser Fernerkogel, a 3,289-metre-high mountain known as the "Tyrolean Matterhorn". From there, continue to the sunny hamlet of "Bichl" and then cross the Kühtaier Landesstraße road and the Zirmbach stream. Finally, follow the forest road (route 2) along the Zirmbach stream and back to the village.
