Long-distance walking trails
If one day of hiking is not enough, we highly recommend the multi-day mountain tours that lead through our region. These hikes show you the amazing variety of the Alps in all its splendour. The Sellrain mountain hut tour, for example, provides a wonderful week-long mountaineering adventure in high-alpine terrain. For experienced mountaineers, another long-distance hiking highlight is the Adlerweg (the Eagle Trail), which leads through the whole of Tyrol in 24 stages. Highlights along the way include the city of Innsbruck, the rugged Nordkette mountain range and the picturesque Zirbenweg trail. If you are a passionate pilgrim, you can follow the Tyrolean section of The Way of St. James. Or if you love comfort, you should try the Innsbruck Trek. This multi-day hike leads to different hotels each night and we transport your luggage from hotel to hotel for you, meaning you can simply relax and enjoy the hikes. Two routes of different difficulty levels are offered each day, with or without a mountain guide.
