Because where there is a mountain lift or cable car, you only have to complete the last stretch of the route up to the summit cross yourself. Simmering Gipfel
Start at the Simmeringalm mountain hut and follow the trail, paying attention to the ground markings, across gentle alpine pastures. The route later covers rocky terrain as it climbs up to the summit.
