This circular hike starts from the car park at the Gemeindehaus (village hall), which is located opposite the listed church in the centre of the village. The route first takes us east along the village road to Mühlgasse road and then continues out of the village towards Angertal (the Anger Valley). Soon, we'll see the former Bergdoktorhaus up on our left, a building made famous by the TV series "Der Bergdoktor", and shortly afterwards the small Lettenkapelle chapel at the side of the road. The route continues from there along a paved road and various signs along the way point us in the direction of the Gerhardhof. After a few minutes, the route takes us right onto a narrow forest trail that leads southeast through a sparse forest towards a fire pit. From there, the route continues straight on towards the roofs of the Gerhardhof off in the distance. At the next fork in the trail, we take the path on the right and follow it for a short distance to the Gerhardhof campsite and guesthouse.
For anyone who does not want to stop off for a break and a bite to eat at the Gerhardhof, you can take the forest road that turns off to the right just before the campsite and then turn left at the first junction. From there, the route takes us along beautiful forest trails back towards Wildermieming. Always keeping left, we continue along the trail to a small gravel pit and a hikers' car park above the main road. From there, a paved road leads past the outlying farms in Unterfeld and back to the starting point - the church tower in the distance also acts as a guide.
Highlight: the display boards in the Anger Valley that provide information about flora and fauna.
