An easy hike and nice excursion in the idyllic "Senderstal" (Senders Valley) in Grinzens, surrounded by the majestic Kalkkögel mountains. The hike starts in the Kohlstatt district of Grinzens and follows the forest road uphill through the Senders Valley to the Kemater Alm mountain hut (walking time: approx. 2 hours). From there, a hiking trail continues to the higher Adolf Pichler Hütte mountain hut (walking time: approx. 45 minutes).

The hike can be shortened by driving or mountain biking up the "Senderstal Forstweg" forest road (toll for cars - € 3) to the car park at the Kemater Alm and then continuing on foot from there up to the Adolf Pichler Hütte.
